That's my suggestion -- use Turk to send Turkers to a landing page, ask to read the page and then complete a survey about the benefits. This keeps you within the TOS boundaries.
You could even use something like Chipin to ask existing users to help pay for the costs.

Thanks! I didn't know about chipin. I tried putting a task on turk, but I feel like it was a little bit confusing. We didn't get very many people accepting the task and it was hard for me to figure out whether people were coming to the site but just not submitting the task.
How did you find us?

One way to spread the word about your extensions would be to create a 0.00 or .01 task with a quick survey about rating requesters & then ask a question about their interest in an extension that unites workers or whatnot.
Or a survey that asks whether people would be interested in getting ratings about Requesters to avoid Scammers, etc. Then force them to the page or give info.
